Dr. Prajna Shetty completed her BDS in 2008 and her Masters in Conservative Dentistry & Endodontics (MDS) in 2013, both from SDM College of Dental Sciences & Hospital, Bangalore. She has been treating patients in Mumbai and Mira Road as a consultant endodontist for over 10 years.
She is our specialist for root canal treatment - from first-time root canals to retreatment of teeth treated before - and for diagnosing the cause of tooth pain. She also handles emergency tooth pain, and rebuilds treated teeth with posts, cores and conservative restorations so more of your natural tooth is saved. She uses rotary endodontic techniques and follows strict sterilization protocols.
Patients can expect a clear explanation of what is wrong and what the plan is, before treatment begins.
